Work-In-Process Tracking (WIP): We have developed end-to-end solutions based on data collection terminals as well as Windows PC LAN.  Complete printing and data collection functionality as well as management reporting module for detailed analysis.

Inventory Tracking: Several applications developed for various customers for cycle counting, inventory level monitoring and other inventory control functions such as receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping.
 

Asset Tracking: PC based application that handles data exchange between the PC and the handheld Palm Computer, ‘’Palm OS based handheld computer with integrated laser scanner’’.  You can scan all fixed assets and manage your fixed assets information using the PC portion of the application.

Cycle Counting: A sub-set of inventory control.  Many customers need to deploy a very simple cycle-counting application to automate a portion of their daily routines.  This could be DOS PDT based or Palm OS based handheld terminals.
 

Proof-Of-Delivery Tracking: Very similar to that of UPS and Fed-Ex delivery systems we are all accustomed to.  You can use a handheld terminal that can guide you during your deliveries and even electronically capture the signature of the person accepting the delivery.

Document Tracking: This can be utilized by a busy Law Office, Accounting Firm or a document-heavy department of a manufacturing company.  Barcode based tracking allows you to put-away and then pick the correct document as well as have a software based tracking of ‘what’s where’.

This field satellite communications system was built using the Industrial Labeling Systems Inventory & Product Configuration Tracking System (IPTS).  Every component deployed in this system can be easily tracked by the Industrial Labeling Systems system - all the way down to the rev level of components.

Product Configuration Tracking: With outsourcing and modular designs deployed in electronics equipment today, this application has become one of the most popular ‘Industrial Labeling Systems Solution’.  Particularly embraced by the telecommunications equipment manufacturers, we provide this type of customized systems on an ongoing basis.  The idea is to use barcodes and a mixture of PC as well as mobile terminal based custom software to help ‘configure’ a product while its being built.  Print and store the actual product configuration for later retrieval. The system can be a ‘simple’ product configurator or can be combined with an entire WIP Tracking system for a true ‘end-to-end turnkey’ Enterprise solution.

Label Printing: Yes, you can simply use a label printing software such as CodeSoft, Labelview, Easylabel or Loftware.  However, almost all our customers ask us to ‘customize’ the functionality of these packages.  We respond with implementations ranging from a stand-alone system just doing data validation to Enterprise-wide distributive barcode label printing.  Our own LabelGenie is a result of our experience in developing many such systems.  Today, LabelGenie can be the solution you need, available off-the-shelf.  However, for those very specific needs, we can still offer you customized solutions.

Laboratory Tracking: Tracking of lab equipment, samples, matching of which employee is using which equipment to run the tests, missing equipment that should have been returned by a certain date, etc.  Tracking of all aspects of a lab environment.
